I've long been an appreciator of learning (i.e. a "bookworm"). :)
My earlier education was of the more traditional variety with an undergraduate degree (English) from the University of Virginia and master's degree (Education) from Marymount University.
Thankfully, I've been able to make wonderful use of those degrees as a children's author (www.starkeystars.com). Writing books for children has been incredibly fulfilling, and I feel very lucky that I can continue to do that while also following my passion/calling to help others through hypnosis.
In addition to writing, I greatly enjoying spending time in nature, as well as practicing meditation. I am a big believer in the life changing benefits of meditation (as it relates to hypnosis and as an independent practice) and have been practicing since 2008. In an effort to learn (and experience) more, I participated in the 7-week Yarne Retreat at Gampo Abbey in early 2014 and have been learning from Pema Chödrön, who is my meditation instructor.

As I mentioned on the Homepage, I have trained with many leaders in the field of hypnosis, including my first teacher, Dr. Brian Weiss.
It brings me great joy to be able to use what I've learned to help others move forward on their own journeys.

Hypnosis is known for allowing one to explore other lifetimes and other dimensions. However, the greatest benefit is how it affects the way you experience this beautiful planet here and now.
